 Welcome to the ELTNA Website

This has been such an exciting year for East Lake Terrace! Our Association has continued to grow and flourish with all the new residents joining, and the faithful charter members participating as well. Some of our accomplishments this year include:

  • Creation of our website, thanks to designer Matthew Clemmons!!!
  • Working with Commissioner Larry Johnson to ensure the Lake Buena Vista project is carried out as planned
  • Representing the Association at several Commissioner Meetings to support pay raises for our police and firefighting personnel.
  • Raising $8,000 for the families of the recently murdered Dekalb police officers, Barker and Bryant.
  • Skip-tracing absentee landlords and forcing expulsion of disruptive, drug abusing tenants.
  • Obtaining our Georgia Non Profit designation.
  • Conducting candidate forums for the residents of ELT and neighboring communities during important elections in Dekalb County.
  • Raising awareness of the neighborhood through various advertising opportunities and sponsorships.
  • Issuing daily email alerts for crimes/criminal activity in the neighborhood.

With all that, we still have so much to do. Some of our continuing activities this year include:

  • Obtaining additional streetlights in dark areas of the neighborhood.
  • Obtaining surveillance equipment to monitor activities, and prevent dumping, at our newly refurbished park.
  • Updating our neighborhood logo and purchasing new signs, t-shirts and car tags.
  • Working with elected officials to ensure a safer, cleaner, more attractive East Lake Terrace, even in these lean times.
  • Purchasing new Association meeting reminder signage.
  • Hosting a neighborhood picnic and "meet & greet" with our representatives and police personnel.
